A balmy -40

I thought those of you that don’t live here would appreciate hearing that it’s a balmy -40 below zero this morning. (Okay, -38 below – but really, who’s counting at that point? It’s basically -40 below. If someone can tell the difference between -38 and -40, they deserve an amazing prize ;) )

It’s supposed to ‘warm up’ to about -20 above.

So there’s your Alaskan tid-bit for the day ;)

We are still in the trenches of being sick, slowly crawling our way out. Last week most of us felt pretty miserable. This week, less so – progress baby, progress :)

And with that, I leave you with a little morning giggle …

Nope, not at all. That’s why we only have one “Normal” setting around here – and it’s on the washer.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. ahhh…I love your Alaska weather updates…seriously find it so interesting.  LOL!  And I thought the 16 degrees here on my commute to work was extremely cold!  How much snow do you guys have already???

OMG!!  I LOVE that saying!!!  My husband and I always have this discussion….he’ll say “that’s not normal” and I say “what exactly is normal?  There is no normal!”  LOL!  I’m totally going to show him this!  Glad you all are getting better.  And I’ll take my 80 degrees today ;)

16 above sounds warm now, huh?!!! haha We have enough snow that we’ve had to shovel, but nothing too crazy. We’ve definitely had more snow in other years by now. It’s been fairly warm this year. This week has really been the coldest so far. Always happy to share my crazy weather updates! :)
