I think with this session alone, I’ve received two of the best compliments ever: a) Jacqui & her family were recommended to me by another family of mine, just in casual ‘well who’s your photographer’ conversation (which really I don’t think there’s a higher compliment out there to feel confident enough to recommend something to someone else) and b) within the first half-hour or so of our session together, Jacqui kindly said that I have definitely found my calling. Not a bad way to start out the day I’d say, huh. And I’m telling you this family was full of fun, laughter, giggles and crazy antics. (Okay, I threw that part in just for mom & dad Sydney & Andrew were full of suggestions – I loved it! Kept me on my toes & gave us a lot of fun shots to boot.) This was their first family portrait in 15 years! That’s a tall order … I hope I served you guys well!

First, Miss Sydney & little brother Andrew. (I know, seriously, how cute are they?!) And that first pose, all their idea. (I know moms across the country right now are thinking, and they’re brother & sister?!! I know. You can’t fake sibling friendship like that.)

The whole family. (Yep, 9 and 7 year olds do have their quiet moments every once in a while)

I don’t think these two could be any happier.

I love Sydney’s face here … and the sideways glance at mom (c’mon, mom, this is fun right!) and little Andrew, in full G-force mode, haha.

Thank you Jacqui & Andrew for the wonderful chance to meet up with your family, take a stroll & enjoy the day … we have so many good ones, I had a hard time even picking some faves for the sneak peek! I can’t wait to show you guys the rest … hopefully we won’t be waiting another 15 years to do this again

   It looks like you guys had fun. I love the second portrait, the lighting is fantastic and the one on the bridge is great! It looks like Alaska is heading in to the fall season already.

   oh Wow Chels….these rock! I LOVE the 2nd sibling shot and that last family one, how fun! And what a good looking family too.
