I knew the sparks were gonna fly for this session when Liz contacted me in mid-April to schedule a family session for fall – yes, for fall – she’d clearly done her research & I love it!
Their youngest had just recently arrived at that point & she knew she wanted photographs of the whole family here in Alaska. You see, their story is a little different than it might be for some of us. They already know they will only be stationed in Alaska for a short time & after arriving late last fall, she knew that an Alaskan fall photo session, celebrating their time here as a family, was the only way. I couldn’t agree more.
What started as a conversation on wall art & digital collections, quickly turned into how to make this happen – how to celebrate this time in their lives & ‘capture it on film’ forever. And with that, I was given the privilege to photograph Sydney, Isaac, Baby Michael & their parents. It only made sense to showcase their love of life, their love of family togetherness, their love of the outdoors and yes, their amazing energy as well
I hope you enjoy their session showcase as much as I did!
(And don’t forget to stop back by Friday for a few more images + Liz’s take on how she dressed her crew! I asked her if she’d take a minute & write something to share as really, she did a fabulous job & definitely had a ‘make it work’ moment
)
